Each year we award $500 scholarships to former Cherry Street attendees and volunteers. These scholarships are made possible through the Thelma Roe Memorial fund. Thelma was very supportive of the children of Chanute and the mission of Cherry Street. She believed empowering children though education was one of the best tools to ensure their futures.
Our graduating seniors also receive a scrapbook compiled by our volunteers. The books track a Cherry Street students activities and achievements through out their academic career through senior year. For your convenience we have made the following scholarship applications available to download.
