East
Cherry Street East is located on the corner of Forest & Cherry in Chanute, KS. Children in grades K-2 attend here. This is also where our main office is located. The children participate in enrichment opportunities in STEM, Reading, BIble, Physical Activities, Art and more.
West
Cherry Street West was built in 2000. It is located at 719 N. Garfield. Children in grades 3-5 attend here. The children receive a nutritious snack each day. They will participate in enrichment opportunities like STEM, Art, Physical Activities, Bible, Reading, and Garden class. In Garden class the child can get hands-on experience growing vegetables and flowers in our greenhouse and outside garden. They also learn about honey bee keeping and other important pollinators. The Greenhouse is located behind the West building.
Warehouse
The Warehouse program is our Middle School program, located at 24 N Larson (in the Zion Lutheran Family Life Center). It starts immediately after school and ends at 5:00 pm. Children receive a snack each day and participate in activities designed to build relationships and skills needed to successfully navigate middle school. The children participate in enrichment opportunities like Technology/3D Printing, Art, Physical Activities, Bible, Group Games, and cooking classes. The Warehouse children also focus on service opportunities in the community.
Greenhouse
The Cherry Street Greenhouse is located behind our West building. Children that attend our summer programming have the opportunity to participate in many activities involving our garden and greenhouse.
